Craftmanship
Cork
Our cork is made from the bark of cork oak trees from Portugal and it is a sustainable, durable product. Colored and patterned corks are naturally dyed without the use of harsh chemicals.
Natural cork pattern, color and grain may vary and visible, but this does not indicate a defect of the product.
Cork is a natural, environmentally friendly material. It biodegrades completely and can be easily recycled without producing any toxic residues.
It is also water resistant. When the need arises, gently wipe your cork jewelry with a little soap and warm water. Let it air dry.
Coconut Shell
Our coconut shells came from discarded coconut shells ethically sourced from the Philippines and Sri Lanka. Coconut shells have natural shapes, dots, blended colors, but it's main color is dark brown.
Only natural sealers and coconut oil are used to polish each piece. They are 100% natural and handmade.
Cactus Leather
Our cactus leather was produced by Desserto®. Cactus leather is biodegradable, recyclable and much more sustainable than animal leather, PU and also PVC. That's why we have chosen this eco-friendly leather to go with our limited edition cork designs.
Accents
Clasps and accents of our jewelry are made from two of the most sustainable and recyclable metals: gold over brass and zamak.
They are lead and nickel safe.
Our earrings are paired to a better and greener solution, getting rid of silicone earring backs with the use of leverback and kidney ear hooks only.
